Camera Info

17th May 2010 - CANON PowerShot A3000 IS  is a small, light, easy to carry, point & shoot camera.  With a price tag under Aust$200.00, it’s a good starting point for a beginner (like me).

And if my poor short term memory & intermittent brain fog can interpret  the instruction manual, then anyone new to photography can too.

Mind you, it did take many hours of trial & error to finally produce a pleasing image, but in this day of modern computer technology & free editing software, I can assure you, there are more than 101 ways to erase or rectify your photo shooting errors -  I know –  I’ve tried every one of them.

In the distant future, I hope to one day, actually shoot the perfect photo (without having to edit my original image at all).

In the mean time, the word “practise” has become my second name.
