Street Art – Union Lane, Melbourne CBD
A trip to Melbourne’s city business district yesterday provide an opportunity to walk down one of my favourite Art Galleries – Union Lane’s Street Art. No matter how many times I walk this incredibly narrow lane which connects two streets in the main shopping precinct, I never fail to see some new works of art.
My only complaint is that sometimes they are painted over some favourite ‘old’ works of art.
Yesterday……the eyes of one particularly large new piece were stunning. The Artist had painted scenes reflected in the eyes.
Check the eyes out (in the painting below).
And even closer…………….
Perhaps these interesting looking young men who I followed down the street might have even been the artists?
They were carrying plastic coloured crates which are the usual steps/ladders and/or spray paint carrying holders which many street artists use these days.

Incredible!
Yes Vicki, The eyes have such detail and soul…great shots agian!

Must have taken ages to paint those eyes alone…
Wow, just awesome – lots of details in theses pieces of art…
Aren’t they just, Timo. I never cease to be amazed at some of the talent of these street artists.
