A new Busker in the City
I spotted a new Busker in the main shopping street in the city yesterday. I heard his flamenco-style of playing before I even saw him. Couldn’t get close and I had a heavy bag as well as my camera gear, so I was content to use the telephoto lens which was still sitting on the DSLR from the beach walk (instead of putting everything on the footpath to change over to my 50mm lens). It took a few shots to capture him as the city is still pretty crowded being school summer holidays here in Australia.
This amazing musician had the fasted finger work I have ever seen on a flamenco guitarist and I suspect the music might have been his own composition.
I’ll keep a look-out for him again, as I’d like to sit on a bench nearby and listen to him for a longer period of time, but it was getting late, and I was too tired after the beach walk earlier in the afternoon to spend more time in the city CBD. These images required a fair bit of cropping as there many shoppers milling about the area and they looked distracting in the background/sides of the frame.
I like the third image the best, but the fourth one shows his interesting haircut, so I added that one in.

fabulous images Vicki!!! I play too, take me next!
Thank you Steve.
I do actually remember seeing a photo of you playing your guitar early on in our correspondence.
